Was assigned to Near East Relief Mission to rescue Armenian Saints from massacre -relocated them from Aintab to Aleppo Syria, was "superman" & "angel" Church wide fast 1921 raised $115,000 sent to
Shipped Rugs to Utah to help sustain Syrian (Armenian) saints 03 Dec 1928 (2 days before death) We have one of those rugs.
only 59 LDS Armenians survived WW II by 1946
after 1988Eartquake killed 50K Armenians, church sent $100,000
first baptism was March 1992, by Dec 2004, there were 1,795 members
May 2001 Armenian Book of Mormon released to coincide with 1,700 anniversary of Christianity there
